WHO I AM

I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources in the University of Toronto with a research interest primarily in labour market policy evaluation and strategies to organize and mobolize labour force. My current work focuses on the economic and social impact of occupational licensing in Canada. I am currently in the process of completing my thesis titled:  The Impacts of Regulated Occupational Status on Workers' Compensation, wellbeing and Mobility.

 

I am also interested in examing the effectiveness of social media communications among labour unions in the U.S. and Canada.

 

I graduated from University of Toronto with a MA in Economics, and hold a BA in Economics from University of British Columbia and a BSc in Computer Science from Shandong University, China.
